With new faces galore throughout the game, three of the new characters are the bachelorettes of Skytree Village. Elise is an aspiring chef and daughter of the restaurant owner. Jeanne is a shy gal training to become an herbal doctor. Melanie is the granddaughter of the town blacksmith and an apparel and interior designer with her own shop.
Harvest Moon: Skytree Village not only introduces new characters, but it also introduces new game mechanics. Fishing has changed to include the option to expand waterways and catch rarer fish in your boat.
New crops and flowers are part of the game as well, keeping farmers on their toes.
